StampFinder Coding System!!

StampFinder uses a unique coding system for identfying items based on country, subsection, grade, condition, variety, and topic. The system is designed to avoid confusion and make it easier for individuals from different countries to conduct exchanges. The StampFinder system is growing in use among various dealers and software developers. Our system is free to any who would use it regardless of whether you list your inventory on StampFinder or not. Our goal is to provide a truly international market for stamp dealers and collectors.

Dealers interested in placing their inventory on StampFinder should use our country and section codes in the inventory they send to us. Our condition and grade codes are designed to eliminate confusion between various abbreviations currently in use. The variety and topic codes are optional. However, since many of our customers search by variety or topic, dealers not using the these codes may be at a disadvantage.
